Sunlight adds a golden hue to the snow-capped Meili Snow Mountains range, presenting a fairy-tale scene in Shangri-La, Deqin County, southwest China's Yunnan Province. The highest peak of the holy mountain stands at 6,740 meters above sea level where it is a pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists.
