U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that "the door is open" for New Zealand to engage in the Australia-UK-U.S. (AUKUS) trilateral nuclear cooperation. However, New Zealand's Foreign Minister Nanaia Mahuta shut that door by affirming that her country's nuclear-free position won't be compromised.
