Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan held a banquet at the Jinniu Hotel in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, to welcome international dignitaries attending the opening ceremony of the 31st summer edition of the FISU World University Games. Children and teenagers dressed in ethnic costumes sang the Sichuan folk song "Jubilation When the Sun Comes Out" for international dignitaries.
