The 31st FISU World University Games, also known as the Summer Universiade, have officially commenced in Chengdu, China, bringing together delegations from about 170 countries and regions. In an exclusive interview with CGTN's Wang Guan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev conveyed his wishes to all the participants partaking in this global sporting festival. Azerbaijan has sent a big team of over 150 athletes to this Summer Universiade, marking a substantial increase compared to previous years.
