The opening ceremony of the 31st International University Sports Federation (FISU) World University Summer Games took place at the Dongan Lake Sports Park in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, with two key words in mind: sunshine and dreams.
To kick off the event, a 12-second countdown was initiated, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display featuring the image of the Golden Sun Bird, a symbol serves as Chengdu's city logo. This momentous display marked the official start of the ceremony.
