The International University Sports Federation (FISU) believes that the venues and facilities in Chengdu are outstanding and state-of-the-art, FISU Acting President Leonz Eder said in an interview ahead of the summer Universiade.
The 31st FISU Summer World University Games opened on Friday evening and will last until August 8 in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province.
One of the legacies of the Universiade is that Chengdu will host the World Games in 2025, so all the people from the organizing committee can use their experiences for the future, said Eder during Tuesday's interview with China Media Group.
