Chinese swimmers won one silver medal and two bronze medals on the closing day of the World Aquatics Championships on Sunday.
China won a total of 20 golds, 8 silvers, and 12 bronzes this time, in which the swimming team won 5 golds, 3 silvers, and 8 bronzes, the diving team won 12 golds out of 13, 4 silvers, and 3 bronzes, and the artistic swimming squad bagged 3 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.

Qin Haiyang, Xu Jiayu, Pan Zhanle, and Wang Changhao won China's first World Championships medal in the men's 4x100m medley relay, placing 2nd in three minutes and 29.00 seconds to set an Asian record.
Team USA set a new world record with a time of three minutes and 27.20 seconds.
Zhang Yufei, Xu Jiayu won bronzes, respectively, in the women's 50m freestyle and men's 50m backstoke.
In the women's medley relay, Wan Letina, Tang Qianting, Zhang Yufei and Cheng Yujie missed the podium by 0.45 seconds, behind USA, Australia, and Canada.

Earlier, Zhang won her fifth medal in Fukuoka, as she placed third in 24.15 seconds behind Sweden's Sarah Sjoestroem and Australia's Shayna Jack.
Sjoestroem, 29, claimed her record-breaking 21st career world medal in 23.62 seconds, one hundredth of a second short of her own record, but moving clear of American great Michael Phelps' mark of the most individual medals at the World Championships.

Xu, a two-time 100m backstroke world champion, settled for bronze in 24.50 behind Hunter Armstrong (24.05) and defending champion Justin Ress (24.24) from the U.S.
