At least 40 people were killed and dozens others wounded on Sunday in a bomb blast targeting a political rally in the Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in Pakistan's northwest. According to Geo News, the blast hit a convention of the political party, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl, near the Shanday Mor area, said a spokesperson of a state-run rescue organization in the province. The nature of the explosion is not known yet, and no group has immediately claimed responsibility.
