At least 44 people have been killed and more than 100 others wounded in a suicide bombing at a political gathering of a leading Islamic party in northwest Pakistan. Among the victims was Maulana Ziaullah Jan, a prominent leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) party.
