China is hosting the 6th China-Arab States Expo this coming September. The 4-day event will be held in the northwestern city of Yinchuan in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Yang Chengxi has the details. 

Government delegations from 14 Arab countries, as well as over 60 foreign businesses and associations are gathering this September to attend the 6th China-Arab States Expo in Yinchuan. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said on Monday that Saudi Arabia will be the country of honor this year, and the expected number of participants will exceed 50,000.

WANG LI, Vice Chairman, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region "The 6th China-Arab States Expo is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, which coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, making it of great significance."

The previous 5 editions of this expo witnessed the signing of over 1,200 cooperation projects between China and Arab nations. This year, the list will expand with more than 20 investment projects set to be signed during the expo's Belt and Road Trade and Investment Promotion Conference.

YANG CHENGXI, Beijing "Through a number of official and business exchanges between China and Arab countries in the past few years, both sides have reached a consensus to further enhance cooperation in key sectors such as technology, automobiles, and energy."
