Downpours brought by Typhoon Doksuri are abating in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and moving towards the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and provinces including Jilin, China's National Meteorological Center said on Tuesday.

A red alert for meteorological risk of geological disasters was issued in Beijing on Monday, cautioning the public that the risk of disasters such as building collapses and landslides would be very high from Monday noon to Wednesday noon.
