Former U.S. President Donald Trump has been indicted in an investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice. He was charged on Tuesday with four counts in alleged attempts to undo his 2020 election defeat. Einar Tangen, senior fellow at Taihe Institute and chairman of Asia Narratives, says these charges could affect Trump's presidential run in favor of finding a Republican candidate that can win and give him a pardon.
