Heavy rainfall and the overflowing Yongding River have wreaked havoc in Yongqing County, Langfang City. Soldiers from the Hebei Provincial Corps, Langfang Division have rushed to the scene for flood control and rescue. They've been using a mix of manpower and machines, filling sandbags and fortifying the dikes to prevent further disasters. As of the wee hours Wednesday, they had reinforced over 200 meters of dikes and packed more than 10,000 sandbags. But the battle is far from over. They are still fighting on the front line, making preparations for further rainfall and flooding.
