Team China continued to lead the medal table after clinching 12 gold medals at the ongoing 31st International University Sports Federation (FISU) World University Games in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Friday.
In swimming, China's Qin Haiyang won men's 200m breaststroke title in two minutes 8.90 seconds, setting a new FISU record in the event.
A total of 24 gold medals were attained on Friday.
