India's lunar landing mission has entered the Moon's orbit, the Indian Space Research Organisation said Saturday.
"Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) maneuver was completed successfully today (August 05, 2023). With this, #Chandrayaan3 has been successfully inserted into a Lunar orbit," the space agency announced on social media, adding that the next lunar-bound orbit maneuver is scheduled for Sunday.
India successfully launched its third moon mission, called Chandrayaan-3, last month.
