The inhabitants of Glendale, in the state of California, have prepared more than 300 goats that will help mitigate the fire season. Because of the lack of rain this year, dry grass in the mountains could easily cause fires. Since goats have big appetites and are good mountaineers, they can consume the dry grass that grows on the slopes, reducing fire risk to some extent.
