People's lives in flood-hit Zhuozhou City in north China's Hebei Province have been gradually returning to normal since Friday, as water is receding in downtown areas and power supply has been restored in major parts of residential areas. Local authorities have been stepping up drainage efforts to clear the remaining floods.
