Rescue and relief operations are underway in northern China in the aftermath of Typhoon Doksuri. Torrential rain and widespread flooding pounded many regions across China's north and northeast since late last week. Emergency teams have been evacuating trapped residents, repairing damaged roads and bridges, reinforcing river embankments, and clearing up the rubble and debris caused by the rainstorms.
