Russia's Defense Ministry said it struck Ukrainian air bases in Rivne and Khmelnytskyi regions, RIA news agency reported on Sunday, adding that the target of the strike was reached and all assigned objects were hit.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that a Russian missile strike on Saturday hit a facility of the Ukrainian aeronautics group Motor Sich.
"Today there was another Russian missile attack against our country. Kinzhals, Kalibrs. They hit Motor Sich" and the Khmelnytskyi region in western Ukraine, around 300 kilometers (190 miles) southwest of Kyiv, Zelenskyy said in his evening address.
