Panda, spices and enthusiasm — these are the key words that an ordinary Universiade spectator would use to describe the host city, Chengdu. The 31st World University Games are underway in southwest China's Sichuan Province, from July 28 to August 8, under the theme "Chengdu Makes Dreams Come True." During the Games, Chinese and foreign athletes were impressed by the cute pandas, spicy food and warmth of locals. CGTN Stringer Wang Zeyu went to the Universiade Village to talk with the "villagers".
