Hainan warship can play diverse roles in amphibious military operations, said the captain of China's first homegrown amphibious assault ship.
The Type 075 vessel, named the Hainan, can carry dozens of helicopters and hundreds of troops. It was commissioned to the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy on April 23 in 2021 in the southern Chinese island province Hainan.
