China urges the Philippine side to honor its commitment and remove its illegally grounded vessel from Ren'ai Jiao, a spokesperson from China Coast Guard said on Monday.
The Philippines persisted in sending two ships into the waters of Ren'ai Jiao without authorization last Saturday, despite China's repeated dissuasion and warnings. In accordance with the law, Chinese coast guard vessels took measures to avoid a collision, the spokesperson added.
