The daily patrol starts with counting. Counting is in the rules set by Wu Yonglin. He has been counting for more than 20 years. Just as Wu feared, last night's snowfall deprives the Przewalski's gazelles of food. To ensure that each gazelle has enough maize, the feeding is deliberately arranged within a long area.
About 'Journeys in Nature': Super Nanny Series
Wu, as the head of the protection station for Przewalski's gazelle in Qinghai Lake National Nature Reserve, has been devoted to conservation work for over 20 years. He not only monitors the gazelle population, but also rescues wounded or lost gazelles and serves as a "super nanny" of calves. What is Wu's daily life like with Przewalski's gazelles? Stay tuned!
