The Alai Libraries were established amid the idyllic landscapes of forests, lakes, snow-capped mountains and grassland found at several scenic areas within Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Sichuan Province. Named after the writer Alai, the libraries provide not only a quiet environment for traveling book lovers, but also a showcase for local and ethnic literature.
