The competitions, except men's water polo, concluded at the 31st International University Sports Federation (FISU) World University Games on Monday.
Topping the medal table, Team China claimed a total of 103 gold medals, 40 silvers and 35 bronze medals during the games, which were held in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province.
China's "Dream" diving team thrilled as they took all the gold medals in 15 events, along with five silvers and one bronze medal.
In water polo, Team China claimed the women's crown after defeating Team Italy 12-7 in the final on Monday. "The girls withstood the pressure in the final, and they performed perfectly," said China coach Wang Jun.
In swimming, Zhang Yufei broke the FISU record in women's 50m freestyle after clocking 24.29.
With wins in 50m freestyle and 4X100m team relay event, she bagged a total of nine gold medals during the games.
Also, the FISU record in the men's 4X100m medley relay was reset at a time of 3:32.58 by Team China, consisting of Qin Haiyang, Wang Gukailai, Lin Tao and Chen Juner.
A total of 21 gold medals were attained on Monday.
