The Cowboys built their incredible market value with continuously growing revenue. They made $1.05 billion in 2022, $272 million more than the Rams, which were the second-most-valuable franchise in the NFL last season. Moreover, the Cowboys became the second club in history that generated over $1 billion in revenue after Barcelona of La Liga during the 2019-20 campaign.
Six of the 10 clubs above are from the NFL, which made $17.8 billion in national media and advertising revenue last season, $12 billion of which was shared by all 32 teams. Each of them received $375 million and averaged $5.17 billion per franchise in market value. The NFL teams are expected to get nearly $400 million in the 2023 season.
The Cincinnati Bengals, which are worth about $4 billion, are the least valuable NFL team.
