A debate on a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government began in the lower house of the Indian parliament on Tuesday.
Gaurav Gogoi, leader of the opposition party Indian National Congress, filed a notice for the motion on July 26 amid the ongoing impasse in the parliament over the situation in the strife-torn state of Manipur.
