Chengdu Universiade attracts more visitors to museums

One of the most attractive exhibits at the Chengdu Museum is a pottery figure of a music and dance performer dating back to the Han Dynasty (202BC-220AD). Its image was used as costume for performers during the closing ceremony of the 31st FISU Summer World University Games in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. /CFP

The 31st FISU Summer World University Games was held from July 28 to August 8 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The sports event has stirred up a trend for people to visit museums and take a closer look at actual relics from the ancient Shu culture.
