Firefighting aircraft were battling a fresh wildfire on Tuesday near the village of Valencia de Alc￡ntara in the Extremadura autonomous community of Spain, close to the Portuguese border. According to local authorities, the fire has consumed approximately 350 hectares, as Spain grapples with one of its most intense summer heat waves.
