Chinese military provides medical service in flood-hit areas of Beijing

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Joint Logistic Support Force on Wednesday dispatched medical teams to provide much-needed health services for the residents in the flood-stricken areas of Beijing. The six medical teams, comprising of 26 medical professionals overall, visited 41 villages in Fangshan District to carry out disaster relief work. The army soldiers also conducted free door-to-door diagnosis and treatment for villagers. In Mentougou District, two field water purification vehicles were deployed to purify water for at least 100 local villagers.
