A series of events were held on Tuesday in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality to commemorate 140 years since the late U.S. Army General Joseph Stilwell's birth. Stilwell, a four-star general in the U.S. Army who worked in China five times from 1911 to 1944, fought side by side with the Chinese against the Japanese invasion and helped defeat fascism.
