Another Ukrainian missile was shot down over the Kerch Strait, Sergey Aksenov, the head of Crimea, said on Saturday, hours after he claimed two Ukrainian missiles were intercepted in the strait.
There has been no response from Ukraine yet.
Russia's Foreign Ministry later condemned what it called Ukrainian terrorist attacks on the Crimean Bridge and vowed retaliation.
"There can be no justification for such barbaric actions and they will not go unanswered," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement on the Telegram messaging app.
She said Russian forces had also shot down a number of Ukrainian drones targeting the peninsula.
According to Russia's Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian missiles targeting the Crimean bridge Saturday afternoon, respectively at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., were detected by Russian air defense systems and shot down in the air with no damage or casualties.
