Mega bridge on Beijing-Kunming Expressway connected

The sides of the Weihe River Bridge, a mega extension project on the Beijing-Kunming Expressway in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, were connected on Thursday. With a length of 1,385.5 meters and a width of 42 meters, the bridge is the largest and widest continuous girder bridge with corrugated steel webs under construction in Shaanxi Province. The new section of the expressway is expected to fully open to traffic on September 30 this year.
