Russian air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian missiles over the Crimean bridge, said Governor Sergey Aksenov on Saturday, adding that no damage has been caused to the bridge.
Russia's Defense Ministry later confirmed that Ukraine had tried unsuccessfully to strike the Crimean bridge with S-200 rockets at about 13:00 Moscow time (1000 GMT).
Ukraine has not responded to the claim yet.
