Full-length photos of Asia's tallest known tree

China's Giant Tree Research team has released full-length photos of Asia's tallest known tree in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, also the second tallest tree species in the world. The cypress (Cupressus austrotibetica) is measured at 101.2 meters, and its historical height (including the dead trunk) is 102.3 meters, equivalent to a 36-story building. The second tallest living tree in this area is 99.5 meters tall.
