A mega road bridge spanning over 1km on a section of the highway linking Yinchuan City in northwest China and Kunming City in the southwest was successfully connected on August 13. The Renwanru River bridge, located in Guyuan City of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is 1,169 meters long and is a key control project of the Ningxia-Kunming Expressway. The Ningxia-Kunming Expressway, spanning 2,322 kilometers with a design speed of up to 100km/h, starts in Yinchuan City of Ningxia, passes through Gansu, Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Chongqing, and ends in Kunming City of Yunnan Province.
