Astronomy enthusiasts photographed the annual Perseid meteor shower as it lit up the night sky over Xuyi County in China's Jiangsu Province on the evening of August 12 and early morning of August 13.
The Perseid meteor shower is considered to be one of the most impressive annual meteor showers. It reaches its peak in mid-August.
