Expert: Fire has destroyed biodiversity on island of Hawaii

The death toll from the Hawaii wildfires has reached 93, with search and rescue still underway as firefighters continue battling the deadliest U.S. wildfire in more than a century. Hawaii is home to 44 percent of the endangered plant species in the United States. Mr. Thomas Gehl, CEO of White Manor Management Group in Yunnan, was also an environmental advisor to former U.S. President Bill Clinton. He says the fire has destroyed biodiversity on the island.
