September 18th Historical Museum, or 9.18 Historical Museum is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province of northeast China. The museum was built to commemorate the “September 18 Incident,” an aggression against China launched by Japan in 1931. This incident was the symbol of the start of the Global War against Fascism as well as the start of World War II in the east.
The museum has become an important venue for Chinese public patriotic education and major commemorative activities dedicated to the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
