In the Wuyi Mountains, the annual tea-picking season is the busiest time of the year. Local tea farmers make regular trips down the mountains, delivering the freshly-picked tea leaves. It can be a long walk and involves each person carrying as much as 45 kilos of tea leaves at a time on their shoulders.
