In some remote and impenetrable mountains and forests across the vast land of China, a real-life drama of the rarest wild animals is unfolded in CGTN Documentary.

With the support of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the documentary Eyes on a Secret World provides first-hand footage captured by infrared cameras installed in thousands of natural reserves across China. The documentary aims to enhance public understanding of the amazing creatures and to raise awareness of protection and preservation.

In addition to presenting the lives of the better-known endangered species such as the giant panda, the lives of lesser-known species such as the dwarf musk deer, snow elf, and golden snub-nosed monkey are also chronicled. With these secret eyes, audiences can get up close with these rarely-seen creatures.
