An exhibition featuring masterpieces from Modernist artists is currently underway at the Meet You Museum in Beijing's 798 Art District.
With 47 masterpieces from 36 artists on display, this exhibition offers visitors the chance to learn about representative artists from the Modernism movement such as Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh and Joan Miro.
The works on display span the 1860s to 1970s, showcasing the development of Western art over a century or so.

Featuring various art forms such as painting, sculpture and photography, the exhibition chronicles the artworks and explores the characteristics and importance of the artistic movements that these masters represent.
All the pieces on display come from the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, which houses the largest collection of modern art in Italy. The exhibition was made possible through close cooperation between Chinese and Italian art institutions.
