Giant panda twins Bao Di and Bao Mei celebrated their fourth birthday at Belgium's Pairi Daiza Zoo as panda fans and tourists from European countries flocked to the zoo. The zoo prepared birthday cakes for the twins and special performances. The twins, born on August 8, 2019, also received a big surprise – their new home. Chinese Ambassador to Belgium Cao Zhongming, Brugelette's Mayor Andre Desmarlieres and representatives of the zoo unveiled the pandas' new home together. Fans came to celebrate the pandas' birthday and brought paintings as gifts.
