China must be and will be reunified, and any attempt to obstruct the process of China's reunification is doomed to failure, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin at a press briefing in Beijing on Friday.
Wang made the remarks in response to the United States insisting on arranging for Taiwan region's politician, Lai Ching-te, to make transit stops in New York and San Francisco on his way to and from Paraguay.
