Purple Mountain, also known as Zijin Mountain, is located in Nanjing City, east China's Jiangsu Province. Zijin Mountain derived its name from the purple shale on its slopes, which takes on a golden gleam under sunlight. As the second peak of Zijin Mountain's three peaks, Toutuoling earned its popularity among hikers because of its breathtaking altitude, towering into the clouds.
