Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with military commanders at the headquarters in Rostov-on-Don, RIA news agency reported on Saturday, citing the Kremlin.

Putin heard reports from Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, commanders of areas, and other senior officers of the group, the report said.
