Water is the fundamental condition for all life to exist and endure, especially in the harsh Gobi desert. As the last wild horse species on earth, the Przewalski's horse is an ancient clan living and thriving on this parched land. To become the leader of the hierarchical group, the male "monarch" must find more food and water for the herd and defend its own turf from intruders. If defeated, the "monarch" will be forced to leave, and its young son will have to join the uncertain fate of exile. What will be the fate of the "monarch" in this herd? About 'Journeys in Nature': Unexplored Land
"Unexplored Land" travels from the Qinling Mountains in northwest China's Shaanxi Province to Yunnan Province in the southwest, from the Changbai Mountains in the northeast to Jiangsu Province in the east. The stories recounts lives of many unique species in the country. A huge quantity of priceless footage was obtained through many hours of patient waiting and tracking in the field. Stay tuned!
