Lahaina residents in Hawaii demand post-wildfire trauma therapy
Native Hawaiians in Lahaina are urging the local authorities to prioritize people's mental health following the devastating wildfires that claimed the lives of 114 people. The death toll could rise as search efforts continue, and more than 60 percent of the affected areas have been searched, said Hawaii Governor Josh Green. Tiare Lawrence is one of the local residents and seven generations of her family have lived in Lahaina. She said the devastating wildfires have shattered their lives and left them in disarray.
