China's meteorological authorities on Sunday issued a blue alert for rainstorms in the country. From 2 p.m. Sunday to 9 p.m. Monday, heavy rain or rainstorms are forecast to hit parts of the provinces of Shaanxi, Hubei, Henan, Sichuan, Yunnan, Shandong, Hebei, Liaoning and Guangdong, the municipalities of Chongqing, Beijing and Tianjin, and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
