Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a tweet on Tuesday that he expects a positive outcome from October's enlargement package assessment.

"We expect a positive assessment of Ukraine's progress in the October Enlargement Package and a consequent decision by EU member states to open Ukraine's EU accession talks until the end of 2023," Zelenskyy said on social media.

He posted the tweet after meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Greece. 

Zelenskyy also wrote that he "thanked her for her efforts to normalize Ukraine's agricultural exports and transit, which is important to achieving full restoration by September 15."
